Raised in the tourist haven of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Brian was immersed in art and photography through the local art scene and creatives around him. He received his M.F.A in fine art photography at Pratt Institute in NYC and his B.F.A. in photography at Memphis College of Art. Brian weaves together reality and expressionism within photography. He subverts the perceptions of reality through the oculus of cinematography and the real world of expressionistic painting, long exposure, and digital collage.
